Audits Division

Auditing is the most important part of our professional activity

What does our audit service do for your company?

Our audit obtains and evaluates the existing evidence in order to determine if there is a reasonable certainty that the information, subject to the audit, is free of substantial errors and in accordance to either the national or international accounting principles, as required.

How do we do our work?

For the purposes of our work we use the International Audit Norms that govern the profession, and also the Horizon methodology, which was developed by Grant Thornton International.

Horizon takes the audit a step beyond the individual transactions or balances' tests, to focus in the review and analysis of your own company, in key aspects such as:

  • General knowledge of the client
  • Generalities (acts, incorporation, activity, integration of the stock capital)
  • Client's activity
  • Key Data (information of the sector, company's position, financial sources, human resources, main competitors.)
  • Counseling provided
  • Historical financial information
  • Financial objectives of the client
  • Income analyses (statistics, commercial issues, clientel)
  • Purchases information (policies, main suppliers, conditions of purchase)
  • Pay roll information
  • Management (organization chart, integration of the Board of Directors, internal audit)

Appraisal of the transaction's cycles of:

  • Cash
  • Sales
  • Investments
  • Permanent assets
  • Inventory purchases
  • Other assets
  • Financial debt
  • Countable capital
  • Employees compensation
  • Operative expenses

Also...

...we prepare a letter to the Management which includes commentaries and recommendations regarding every matter of interest. Those matters comprise suggested improvements for the internal control and accounting records, as well as inconsistencies regarding the application of the Accounting Principles.

At the end of the audit...

...you'll receive the individual financial statements audited, consolidated and combined as applicable, and in the indicated currency.

Remember you should be familiar with the financial statement of your company, because...

...it is a thermometer that measures the economic events and the commercial operations that have an influence in your business activity, and so, allowing you to make the right decisions.

As we are committed with a trustworthy and clear accounting management; we are prepared to provide...

...other reports:

  • Review report.
  • Compiled financial statements report.
  • IPreviously agreed subjects report.
  • Fulfillment of agreements or regulatory entities requirements related to the audited financial statements report.
